Three we can
talk about

Redacted to the level our clients have cleared. The structure, the artefacts and the outcome are accurate; the names are not here.

Grid at the edge

A network operator needed to know whether distributed energy resources would arrive as a wave or a trickle, under three plausible regulatory regimes. We built four futures and a settlement simulator that let their pricing team play each one against real interval data. Outcome — tariff design deferred nine months, then rebuilt against the scenario that won.

The patient ahead

A standing scan on ambient clinical AI, running fortnightly for a health service. The provocation prototype — a triage assistant — was tested with practising clinicians in a simulated intake, not demonstrated to an executive committee. Outcome — two procurement paths abandoned before spend; one internal build funded.

Sovereign compute

Capability mapping for a public agency deciding what to build, what to buy, and what it could not afford to depend on. Delivered as a ten-year indicator dashboard plus a literacy programme for the policy team who would have to keep it current. Outcome — dashboard still maintained internally, eighteen months on.

Engagement
shapes

The five formats we sell. Anything else is a combination of these, priced as a fixed scope.

Retainer

Standing scan

Continuous signal intelligence in one domain. Fortnightly digest, scored and sourced, plus a quarterly synthesis session with the people who make the calls.

9 weeks

Scenario set

Four divergent futures with economics, winners, failure modes and leading indicators. Delivered with a dashboard your team can keep reading after we leave.

12 weeks

Provocation prototype

One future, built enough to use. Working software, instrumented and field-tested with the actual users, delivered with source and a candid account of what did not work.

6 months

Literacy programme

Practitioner intensives, a facilitation manual written for your context, and six months of coached cadence until the practice runs without us in the room.

2 weeks

Second opinion

A short adversarial read of a strategy, roadmap or investment case somebody else produced. Six lenses, two weeks, one memo that argues with it properly.

03 — Artefacts

What lands
on your desk

No engagement ends in a slide deck alone. These are the objects that outlive the invoice.

Signal ledger

Every signal we logged, dated, scored, sourced and tagged — including the ones we downgraded. Yours to keep running.

Scenario dossiers

One document per world. Economics, actors, timeline, three indicators, and the conditions under which the world dies.

Indicator dashboard

Live thresholds tied to public data where possible, so drift is visible without a consultant present to interpret it.

Prototype and source

Running software, deployment notes, test results, and an honest post-mortem of the parts that failed in the field.
